Have had a lot of requests via BM regarding my DIET and/or workout routine
I wont call my eating habits a "diet" since to me, it is easily sustainable and just what I do now. So I am sure people will criticize (this is cougarboard after all), but here is what I do:

Here is what I typically do in order of least to more strict with each meal:

BREAKFAST: Protein bar < 2 hardboiled eggs < 2-4 items of various fruits

LUNCH: Prepackaged salads (I use to make them, but it is just so much easier to stay compliant when I just pull them out of the fridge and bring them). Wife gets them at target usually, but many places have similar. 210-290 calories, has typical salad stuff plus a little meat. NOTE- the dressings that come in these packs are NOT “light”, I discovered this about a month ago, so I use my favorite “light” dressing and even cut another 35 cals and get a better flavor since it is a dressing that I like better)

DINNER: Some type of grilled meat meal (this is harder for me since I am allergic to chicken and don’t like fish, so many of you can make this even more healthy). Typical for me to have 2-3 grilled tacos at Baja Fresh (on Corn tortilla) or a couple Kabobs, or similar meal with healthy meat and some veggies and little carbs. NOTE-the tacos are healthy with flour tortillas, but corn is even more healthy, going from 110 cal for a tortilla to 40 cals)

Food in general I have cut out a lot of carbs, low salt and less sweets

SNACKS: Fruits or small portions of nuts

SWEETS: I often crave sweets after dinner, especially if it is mexican or chinese food. I will eat a few small spoons of Halo Top ice cream, and/or werthers sugarfree hard candy and/or some other type of sugarless hard candy, and/or fruit, and/or trader joes dry mangos (moderation).

WORKOUT: I only lift 2-3 days a week for 30-40 minutes. Run/walk/hike/elliptical or other cardio 2-4 days a week 30-60 min (usually a hike or run/walk with my wife after work)
