First, a stats - males outnumber females 3 to 1. There are three Mens bathrooms on my floor, and one, very large, Womens bathroom.

Now the drama - the main Mens and Womens bathrooms are being remodeled, and so have been closed. That means the lone Womens bathroom on the floor is now closed, yet the men still have two other bathrooms. So the women now have to go to the floor above us or the floor below us to use the bathroom, which are accessible via elevator or a large staircase that's right in the middle of the floor.

A few of the ladies on the floor have become very vocal about how unfair it is that the men still have two bathrooms, and that the women need to go to another floor. They have now started just using one of the Mens bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has both urinals and stalls, while the other just has stalls, and this is the one they have started using. One lady posted a sign on the door that it's now a Womens bathroom, which was taken down by HR, but they continue to use it, even though men may be in it. I've yet to run into one of them while I'm in there, but plenty of guys have been in there when a lady walks in to use the can.

It's creating some real drama with some of these lladies.
