They marketed it as winning a free meal from a drawing my wife entered.
I won't feel the least bit guilty at all, though I recognize that is one of their tactics used. I also recognize that the video they use is simply a scare tactic to try and generate sales. Being in the sales industry myself that sort of thing doesn't really impact me because I recognize it for what it is. I just don't want to deal with high pressure salesmen throughout the dinner, but my understanding is that it should just be a short video with an opportunity to schedule an appointment to "learn more" with no high pressure sales involved (outside of the "scare tactics" of the video of course). If that's truly the case then I'm fine with it. Just making sure my expectations of what to expect are actually on point with what will actually be happening.
