...beyond their indvidual abilities. He wasn't a good offensve player but he was a good rim protector, ate up space in the paint, and was a strong rebounder. The value of good role players on teams are too often overlooked by the average fan because what they contribute isn't flashy or doesn't show up on a stat sheet

The trouble he had last year was learning to play with all the extra bulk he added for football . It wasn't a natural fit for him on the bball court and it hampered his natural game. He has a higher ceiling as a football player but for the current evolution of bball his game is a good fit at the 5 (poor mans Andrew Bogut) .
