You and your Girlfriend are doing stuff you shouldnt and you get caught by your parents. Are you going to stop just because you got caught? Or maybe drinking, or smoking, or anything else your parents taught you to do. Getting caught doesnt make you want to stop doing it. That same principle might apply to this situation.
