Fans on the Internet jump hot and cold, and vent. That's what they do. And BYU fans are milder than fans in many other programs.

Obviously, fans can't see what's going on behind the scenes, that's by definition private and off radar.

As a fan, I wish we could have a little insight into how the coaches have designed to resolve the obvious issues.

One issue is poor line play. The answer is to either recruit better players or to instill a system that coaches up the type of player we can recruit. Is this happening? When will BYU see tangible results from this effort?

Another issue is a lack of skill players, at RB, receiver and historically at CB. You can't coach these positions up. You either have the speed and agility necessary to play them or you don't. What is being done here?

Team effort. There doesn't seem to be a fire under the players right now. I don't see linemen going hard until the whistle. Nobody seems to be upset that they're losing.

When will BYU see the results of improvement? I wish the coaches did more than make us feel good.
