Look more closely at the results. Only 7 of the respondents said BYU should
join either the AAC or the MWC as presently constituted. In other words, something would have to change drastically for the rest of us to want to join a G5 conference.
Right now I say no to leaving independence. However, if concessions are made to guarantee at least the present income and TV deal, then I would consider an AAC invite. Those concessions are not realistic.
So to give your "minority" conclusion more validity, what changes have any G5 conference agreed to that would lead you to believe any but the 7 respondents would actually want to join a G5 conference?
