Currently the numbers are almost 60% adamantly opposed. Wont even "consider" going G5.
A mere 11% actually want to go to one of the existing G5 conferences. Thats not much different than the historical CB split of about 90% to 10% opposed to going G5. And your poll comes during probably the worst week since going indy.
There are 15% who would merely "consider" an expanded G5 and 15% who would "consider" G5 if fantasy land occurs where it comes close to tv exposure and $.
I don't see BYU surviving in a G5 conference (granted they may not survive indy either). But BYU can't give up the $ and exposure (among other things).
I also think the days of BYU attempting to build a conference are over.
I think indy gives us the best chance for fame and fortune. It also allows BYU to take the show on the road to its fans all over the country to build support.
