I don't mean I hate everything about the "I." I love the school in many respects
But there are some things there that are IMO not good and emphasize negative aspects of LDS culture.
One of them is the idea that BYUI is somehow holier than BYU or that it is what BYU once was in terms of being a truly spiritual place where BYU is somehow now a secularized institution. In part that springs from the sort of attitude that BYUJacob was making fun of. That attitude, whatever may be the positives of the "I" (and I agree they are many) is not healthy and fosters an aspect of Church culture that I am sure that the Lord is not pleased with.

I assume they were very deliberate to not say it was approved by the Board of Trustees even though it probably was.
