My honest assessment is that more and more young fans in Utah are choosing the U as their favorite BECAUSE THEY WIN!! It's hard to tell a 10 year old why BYU is so great when they have lost to Utah his entire life.

I also think that losing over and over on National Television to decent teams has wearied some of the out of state fans. When the only games they can see are games where we are getting beat, and beat badly....well, that makes it hard to watch.

Kalani and crew have a tough road ahead of them to right this ship. I fully believe that they are up to the task and it will start with winning in Logan. If we lose to USU it will really create a mess. I hope that the coaching staff have gotten a handle on the apathy that seems to have affected some players and the lack of performance by others. I'd love the see Hoge pass for 250 and run for 50 in a 35-17 win.
