I'm not taking one side or the other, just pointing out why it's such a

difficult thing in the Penn St. community. Lavell was only here for 38 years. Imagine 61? How do you just erase 61 years of history, players, bowl games, national titles, etc? There are going to be times when you have to honor certain teams or certain parts of history and Joe is directly related to all of it. You can't fault Penn St. going forward for it's on field history.

Here was the ceremony. During stoppage play in the 2nd quarter on the jumbo tron. I don't get the outcry.
