If it comes down to wanting the chance for a NY6 slot, filing a lawsuit would be much cheaper than splitting our TV revenue.  It should be pretty straightforward, as the networks and bowl games would favor it.  The lawsuit would simply force the conference to the table.  They would kick and scream, but would be overruled.
