I suspect that 99% of the BYU fans who claim that they are "done" right now will
come right back very quickly if/when BYU ever starts winning football games again.
Which is not to say that Tom Holmoe doesn't have problems - indeed he does - but the situation isn't as dire as it may seem. Attendance will be crappy for the rest of this year, and likely TV audiences will be smaller for broadcasts of BYU football, but the long-term status of the program is really far more important than anything else.
