Solid post that I completely agree with.
No one ever questioned effort on BMs teams. I see the effort on KS teams really falling behind. BMs teams pursued the ball like hungry lions towards their kill.
KS teams pull up if it looks like their the guys going down.
Effort matters.

It's going to take more than "a disciplinarian" on the staff somewhere. It has to be program-wide, all day, every day.
