My brother played in the early 90's and was the standout on BYU's JV squad (Varsity practice squad) before they dropped it. During that time there was a reception dinner held and one of our great QB's from the 80's made a less than flattering comment about walk-ons and the scout team. Unfortunately, it tainted my Dad's image of him to the point that he felt bad for the QB thinking that way about the guys that hustle every day to prepare the 1's for the next game and wished they had the talent that seems to come naturally to the 1's.
Guys like Grant are what make the game as awesome as it is. I hope his injuries don't plague him forever, and that years from now he still looks back on the game with fondness. Much love and appreciation for who he is and what he's done.
