I attended what was supposedly a pretty good public high school in Houston when I grew up and I always had to been a public school advocate ...,.. until I moved someplace that had bad public schools and I had to send my kids to private. What I have since realized is that my public school experience wasn’t actually very good at all compared to what my children are doing in private. Yes, expense sucks, but what am I going to spend the money on? A nicer car? Middle school is when you start to get return for your money, elementary school probably doesn’t matter .
