I'm not disagreeing, but at the same time we averaged 1.6 yard per carry, so

I'm not sure running the ball more would have helped much. I too was surprised that we didn't try to run more on the first couple of possessions. But the running that we did do was largely ineffective early on.

Their run D was supposed to be really bad, wasn't? How did they shut our run game down so effectively?
