I am a little annoyed that the team didn’t walk around and give the little fans five after the game. I realize the players were disappointed but that has kind of become a tradition. I had 2 kids there for their first time and I told them they would get to give them all 5 as they walked around the field and the kids were really looking forward to it. We stayed until the end of the game (I always do even when it’s painful to watch) and then the players all just headed into the locker room. All the little kids lined up in the first row were pretty disappointed and as a season ticket holder that has not missed a game in 10 years I was a little annoyed.

It is more about letting the kids and young fans get the opportunity to see the players than anything else. I felt a little robbed they didn’t get that experience. If it wasn’t a normal thing I would not think it’s a big deal. But they are always circling the field after home games.
