Dye...the problem is the resumes of our current staff ruin the chances for him. He’s coaching high school in Tx.
I wouldn’t say as an OC but RB, WR coach would be perfect. He has a ton of enthusiasm, offensive knowledge and his players respect him. But he lacks college coaching experience.
Imagine him as a recruiter - telling his story growing up in Compton and finding his way and flourishing at BYU.
I know or current coaches with high school and software sales have ruined it for someone like James but he’d get my support.
