We never pass out of that formation. The box was stacked and he would have had about as much luck as the running backs.
The one thing we could have done is revert to Koy jr. he has a lot of time in the system and may have been able to counter what the D was throwing at him. That would be a gamble too as Koy Jr. struggled when he got his shot.
Critchlow was literally thrown to the wolves but there really wasn't a choice.
