Is learning on the job at BYU any worse (for TY) than learning somewhere else?

In other words, can't you argue that Ty will be a better OC in 2018 than he was in 2017 because of his D1 coaching experience?

This is why someone with actual coaching experience should have advised Ty to not take on an OC role right out of HS
