Even if Kalani can recruit the JCs more effectively than anyone on Bronco's staff (& I don't doubt that he can)--he still faces the same ol' BYU challenges that kept Bronco from focusing too much on JCs.
It's frustrating, but it is what it is. BYU's turning away from the JCs following the sex scandals under LaVell & Crowton cost us DEARLY in terms of talent. It's one ground where programs like the yewts & BSU made significant gains on us over the last decade+.
