One comment that says he didn't want the BYU culture is not the same as saying he can't or doesn't want to live the honor code.

And even saying he doesn't want the honor code is not the same as saying he's not an upstanding Latter-Day Saint.

If anything, the comments on the board seem to overwhelmingly defend Cam as a player and a person.

I don't blame you for wanting to defend someone you have a personal connection with, but overstating your case probably doesn't ultimately do him any favors.
