I remember playing USC when Beck was a freshman and decided to take on a LB on a scramble. Pieces were flying everywhere when he got crumpled. By his senior year he became a NFL prospect. Major improvement made. This isn’t happening with our current and recent stable of QB’s. Do players just get lame all of the sudden? Or do they get put in a system that is flawed and exposes their weaknesses rather than their strengths? IDK?
