How about this: 2 qbs on the field at the same time.
Qb 1 is in charge of one side of the field, and makes his reads quickly. If he doesn't see what he wants, he hands it off to qb2 who starts wide but comes from the opposite direction, takes the ball if it is available/ he sees what he wants, and then attacks the other half of the field via pass or run.
