the NFL does not salivate over stanford QBs. they salivated over Luck. they also have not sent their last three QBs to
the NFL. after Luck, you have Nunes, Hogan, Cryst, Burns, and Costello. Not exactly a who's who of QBs, and not a lot of development, either.
furthermore, their system isn't salivated over, either. what they run isn't what the majority of NFL teams are running, and their passing game has severely hindered their ability to win games when they need to score. case in point, rose bowl vs. Michigan state.
