Perhaps Ty told him to fish or cut bait. I can’t imagine Ty out recruiting not knowing if he would be back or not.
I’m sure Ty is much happier on the ranch with his family than he would be to be out recruiting and not be able to give assurances .
I assume he would have preferred the opportunity to turn things around but sitting around to see what happens is not something anyone would want to do.
