A more apt analogy would be like a mechanic sending out Christmas cards to everyone’s cars he’d worked on and his employees saying:
“Well, I’ve been pretty successful this year and been able to really live the high life.”
You think those customers might not think twice before paying the next $1500 bill? You think those employees won’t be looking for a raise?
The problem with MLM, though is that they aren’t really selling a good, commodity, or service. They are selling a dream. She is just advertising this dream lifestyle, which is really what they’re selling.
