I get tired of everyone acting like finances and resources were the problem with Detmer. Fact is, EVERYONE thought we won the jackpot when he was announced as OC, and EVERYONE assumed (with zero evidence) that Detmer would be the greatest OC ever. It's not like we settled for Detmer because we couldn't afford someone better.
