I think Kalani thought he could recruit 4-3 DL

We'll see if he can, but I agree, the 3-4 matches BYU recruiting strengths well. I was disappointed when Bronco abandoned the 3-3-5 (his baby, but the worst D for BYU, IMO). I'd have mixed feelings about Kalani switching to a 3-4. Good for Utah because we'll be recruiting even fewer head to head players. Bad for Utah because your defense probably improves.
