It's not accurate if you only count current
players. BYU would be somewhere in the middle of the Pac-10 based on a quick search I did (AZ State, USC, Cal, Oregon, Washington all have more).
I'm guessing it's based on the past 30 years or so. When I heard Bronco make the comment at the AZ meeting, he said that he had some people do research on past NFL players/drafts and that is what they came up with.
He also mentioned that they researched the positions that BYU has historically sent to the NFL and that highly influenced his change from the 3-3-5 to a 3-4.
