The coaches have missed some opportunities. They have been too conservative at times. I agree.

But the players, you have to admit, are missing too many opportunities, as well. You just can't miss open receivers, drop passes, miss tackles and commit bonehead penalties with systematic regularity and expect to win often.

So you want to whine about coaching, go ahead. Just realize that there is valid reason to recognize player breakdowns as well.
