That's precisely the miracle. Don't minimize this team and what it did. What happened on the field will be seen by the world at large as a validation of Bronco's ability as a head coach, but it will be seen - is seen right now - as a validation of far, far more than that. I have no idea if Bronco can coach football (though he apparently can), but he can lead MEN, of that I am sure. And the Gospel of Christ, as the LDS understand it, is THE key component of that leadership. He doesn't deny it for one second.
This doesn't have to lead to wins. Many good men have ended up with little success, as the world defines it. But the philosophy Bronco espouses is supposed to lead to not only spiritual improvement but improvement in all other pursuits. It is supposed to lead to stronger, faster men. More committed men, more disciplined men. Not perfect men. But better men.
And it does. That is a miracle. Beyond any doubt.
