How soon into the dating process should a guy give the girl flowers, or whatever it is the heck she likes, chocolate, and other stuff... as some girls hate flowers and chocolates.

Me? I'm pretty simple in that I wait for a few dates to see if there is any chemistry and things are going fine and if I like her then I give her something that I know she'd actually like and I'd know what she likes by listening to her through our dates. For example...one girl I dated was OBSESSED with Cafe Rio, as many Utah girls seem to be, so after the 4th date I gave her a bunch of Cafe Rio gift certificates...something simple.

Of course this comes with the caveat that you, the girl, actually like the guy and would look forward to that, as sometimes a guy will give a girl something and she won't like it as much, cause she doesn't feel the same back.

So again...how soon is too soon?
