When we worked with the BYU marketing dept. last year they discouraged us from going out and getting out own sponsors. I think they wanted to keep a good relationship with the sponsors they already have and they did not want to jeopordize any future deals. This was discouraging because it was fairly easy to get the funds that we needed but we had to back off a little and work everything through BYU- which turned out to be the best way anyway.
