I loved the series. History focuses mostly on the ground assaults of world war 2 but rarely the air battles. The series did a great job showing just how awful it was to be in a bomber group and how many never made it back alive especially before fighter planes could escort them with enough fuel. Just sitting ducks on every mission. My only complaint was the CGI at times wasn’t great. But overall, loved the series and thanks for sharing your fathers story! Glad he didn’t have to go to the pacific.
