I know that is counter intuitive. But assuming you are either a 5 or 6 seed and you make it to the Sweet 16, as a 5 seed you would likely be playing a #1 seed, but as a 6 6 seed you would likely play a #2 seed. I know, that is a lot of assumptions about the 1 and 2 seeds making it to that point. 1s often do though. Your opponents as a 6 seed in the first two rounds are not much better than who you gave as a 5 seed.
