My daughter was the same way until she talked to a friend who grew up on Oahu and made a list of fun things to do there than she couldn't do at home. Her attitude changed 180 degrees (or 360 according to Karl Malone hahaha). She began to love the circumstances she now lived in and misses it now that she's back home.
