I ignored the WFH mandate even during the pandemic and drove to work most days.
I was one of three people (out of 350) that were in the office.
I already had a paid parking spot that was too complicated to cancel short term. Also, my house was filled with my wife, high school son, oldest son, his wife, two grandchildren and 4 cats. I left to get away from the chaos.
Even now, I have a real hard time being as productive at home, even with the same office set up as at work. Too many beds, couches, comfy chairs, food, TV, excuses to go run errands at home.
Unless traffic is brutal (which is becoming an issue once again)...I am happier going in and still do at least 3-4 times a week.

I've been WFH now since the pandemic started. But today I had to drive my old commute to get my son to the airport.
