I was in a Provo ward as a newly-wed. We played at the building just south of campus 600 East, 700 North. It was a Stake Tournament.

I was playing with typical EQ type material on my team. Let's just say there were engineers and law students in my ward. They had a much better team overall...they jacked up a lot of 3s. He was talking a lot of trash. I grew up out East and I know trash talk. But he was just a punk about it. Very argumentative. Had something to say every time. We came close to "upsetting" them as they had won for years. I dunked on them often and ended up dunking on him and slightly bending the rim as I swung. I learned later he was a Santiago.

In fairness, I got to talk a lot of smack back about his vertical or lack thereof. Fun times.
