First off, he didn’t light up the stat sheet, but he was in the rotation for an NCAA tourney team. Thats not nothing

Does he want to come to BYU? Highly doubt it.

Does he want to come to Utah? No clue, but the family is very connected there.

I could see UVU—Coach Phillips has long since been well aware of Jace. I could also see Westminster. Jace can play at a higher level, but it’s close to his family, it’s a great academic school (as I understand) and he’d be assured of significant playing time if that’s the priority.

I suspect he isn’t jumping without having a very good idea of where he’ll land. Won’t be surprised to see him with a Utah school soon, but again, it’s merely a guess.

* Upon further review, I'd place Weber State as a more likely landing spot than Westminster. I threw that in there for the above reasons and that D1 players have leveled down and had nice runs at that school. But a school like Weber would seem much more of a match for a dude that has been in the rotation with a 2-time tournament qualifier.

** Also, the Utes. He's buddies with Wahlin and played with Cougarboard's favorite club coach who factored in with Wahlin and Baxter's moves to Utah.
