will - I wonder how much they would factor in historical affiliations versus simply having it be strictly geographically based. I tried to group original conference mates together as much as possible but had to shift a few teams around to get the numbers at 10 each. For example, the Oklahoma schools have far more history in the Big 8 than they ever did in the SWC, but the were in the SWC in its very early years and they needed a couple more schools to get to 10. Similar to putting ND with the Big East schools even though they have more football history with the Big Ten schools.
