Hmmm, doesn't sound like a zipper merge situation. There are two lanes and the
right lane turns right. The law says get over when you can.

I'm not in law enforcement, but would guess it would be wise to use the classic zipper merge there to avoid clogging up traffic at the T intersection. If the people that turn right get miffed, big whoop. There's a right lane near my home that turns right or can go straight. I usually want to turn right, but have to wait for those that use it to go straight.

And if it doesn't bother you (much), you're doing driving right.
