Kentucky for our recruits. There has been big LDS recruits like Jabari Parker or Frank Jackson that have gone to Duke to play for the legendary coach K himself, but overall, BYU has a really good shot at the big LDS names.

The problem is that there is no doubt Pope/UK becomes the #1 destination for those names now. Whoever BYU gets needs to be a killer recruiter, someone who can really sell the brand and vision of BYU in the Big 12, otherwise all Pope needs to do is walk in and say “I’m LDS, I chose UK over BYU twice. I’m the blueprint for your success.” And he’ll win every recruit.
