Losing weight reduces her risk of death, diabetes and cardiac disease so I agree
she should be doing it for that and not you.
If she can’t tolerate ozempic you can:
- make sure you’re getting the real prescription and not just at a compounding pharmacy
- reduce the dose of it
- most just switch to mounjaro to see if that’s better tolerated

IMO I hope ozempic, mounjaro, ect become widely available for anyone obese. 20 lbs is a massive overall health improveme
