Wasn’t a show. He’s just a hyper guy. He was invested in BYU, just not as much
as those of us who are BYU grads or those who have cheered for BYU since we were young. Pope is in invested in Kentucky (his Alma mater) in the same way that we are invested in BYU. Which is good, because now he’s coaching there.
