For me there is the Church affiliation part that is a strong bond for me. Yes, I am an alum, but I almost stayed local and went to the University of Florida or Florida State. I think that I would still be a BYU first guy because of the religious affiliation. I want to see members of church do well in sports and all aspects of life. I love the Church and its members. I want the Church’s flagship school to do well at the highest level.
