...agree that 20-21 and 23-24 were great seasons for Pope. However, that doesn't make the more recent bad seasons disappear. He didn't improve BYU's talent when they finished in 5th-place in 21-22 and 22-23 in a conference that has 25%-full basketball arenas smaller than many high schools. That is called underperforming on all levels - coaches, players, and everyone associated with the team.
