I’d say it’s a bad thing. I know lots of high achievers like Pope who are
ladder climbers and see people as a means to an end. Once they’ve climbed to the next rung on the ladder and no longer need certain people to achieve their objective, they ghost them and move on without so much as a shred of gratitude.
It’s a character flaw.
