He’ll be a junior this coming year and played soccer his first two years of high school. He’s a fairly natural athlete, has always been coordinated, can catch, anticipate plays developing, etc. He wants to try and play kicker and I told him to try for an additional position as well like WR or CB. Anyway, he has zero experience playing football. What would you recommend to get him up to speed so to speak? I don’t want him to show up to summer work outs completely lost. Does he need some sort of mini camp? He will definitely need some sort of kicking instruction. Anyway, don’t want to spend a ton of money but wondering if there is anything out there for football newbies. TIA
